Integrity

In a video we recently watched, our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, was confronted with a challenge of integrity. He was offered  a drink by his coachman. Abraham agreed to drink with him, but wanted to tell him a story before they drank. When Lincoln was in his youth, his mother grew sick. She asked him to promise to never smoke tobacco or drink whiskey. When the he finished his story, he asked do coachman, "Now, are you sure you want me to break my promise to my mother?". Baffled and amused by his integrity, the coachman praised Old Abe for his loyalty and commitment. We should follow his example and "do what is right, even in tough situations".
